My name is Adam Rogers. I have worked in mental health and recovery for the last 10 years in various capacities while working my way through school. I completed my Master’s Degree in 2016 and earned my Independent Counseling License in 2019. It has long since been both a goal and a passion of mine to work as a therapist and also own my own company, both of which have finally happened. Recovery is such a big part of my life for which I feel very grateful. Not everyone gets to do what they love for a living. Our staff and I hope that we can continue to build on the experience we have and offer a solution and hope to those we are fortunate enough to serve. We greatly look forward to working with you!!
Valita Rogers has been a House Manager and Group Facilitator At Shamrock Recovery Services for the past year. She is going back to school this spring to start her bachelor's program so that she can work in addiction therapy and take after her father, who also happens to be one of the owners of Shamrock. Valita really enjoys helping others and working with a variety of different individuals. She has an associate's degree from Yavapai College in Fine Arts and just recently Shamrock has given her the opportunity to teach an art class to our clients, which Valita really enjoys. She will soon be taking peer support training classes which she is really excited about. Marcel Kardas wears multiple hats in his role at Shamrock. As a case manager and as our client coordinator, Marcel gets to showcase his passion for helping others. Growing up in Poland and later in Chicago, he learned at a young age how to relate to people of all walks of life and certainly brings these skills to the table in his multiple roles at Shamrock.
Marcel reports, "Watching clients come in beat up and unmotivated to change and later change their lives and leave us as new people is amazing to me. I want to have a treatment center of my own one day. Recovery is my biggest passion in life. It saved my life and now I want to help others find it too. "
